Target group: students of form 9

 

Time: September 2008 - May 2009

 

Prerequisites: English – intermediate; basic computer skills – MS Office, Internet

 

Tools: Pageflakes, WordPress (weblog), del.icio.us, Wetpaint, Zoho wiki

 

In this course students:

• learn to fill in forms and write different texts (postcard, invitation, informal letter, story, composition)
• learn the proper layout of different written texts
• learn to use formal and informal language
• learn to use linking devices 

Assessment: students present … assignments for assessment at the end of each topic.
